History
The Showstoppers Orchestra was formed in 1970 to give the students of the Rosita Lee Music Center the opportunity to travel and perform, meeting people of all cultures through the music, "The Universal Language." They are under the direction of Rosita Lee Latulippe and Roger Latulippe of Hudson, NH. The Showstoppers have performed in Italy, Ireland, Canada and throughout the United States. U.S. tours include six times in Disneyworld, FL, California, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, Lake George, NY, Nashville, TN, on a cruise ship to Bermuda and in Frankenmuth, MI. They Have performed for the Lions Club, they performed on Boston's "Good Day" Television Show and in Madawaska, ME for the 31st Maine Arcadian Festival. In addition to touring the Showstoppers have taken top honors the New England Music Competition and the American Accordionists Association competitions. The Showstoppers present family entertainment suitable for all ages and are available to perform for Clubs and Civic Organizations.
