EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS
AGES 2 1/2 THROUGH 5

The Rosita Lee Dance Centers Early Childhood Program is designed to provide your child with a strong foundation of movement, rhythm and dance.

TAP
PRIMARY - LEVEL II

Children will begin the basic tap steps while incorporating the awareness of balance.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT

Children begin to explore music, movement, space and their own creativity.

LEVEL IIA TO IIIA

Students will continue learning the tap program incorporating time and rhythm steps.

PRE-BALLET

Children will earn basic ballet technique, rhythm, and music skills.

LEVEL IV-V

Students are taught syncopated rhythms from past and present styles.

JAZZ AGES 6 & UP LEVEL I-III

Jazz is offered for students who want to learn this energetic and fun form of dancing.

LEVEL PRIMARY - I

Classes are designed for children to continue their ballet techniques while making a smooth transition from the Early Childhood Program.

LEVEL IIIA TO V

Styles of jazz dance from musical theater to "pop" and funk are taught in theses levels

LEVEL II-III

Classes are designed for further expansion of the basic barre techniques and to increase center work.

HIP- HOP

These classes incorporate various styles of jazz including street and funk. It promotes creative expression through music and movement.

LEVEL IV-V

Advanced levels of technique and style are taught

PRE-POINTE AND POINTE

Past and present ballet training is considered in selecting students for these classes

LYRICAL

Lyrical Classes are a form of ballet and modern Dance with the inspiration of "pop" music and expression.
